1. BAT – Bogie assembly and testing equipment
Special bench equipped with independent and monitored fixed columns to lift axles and bogies, either assembled or disassembled.
The columns can be hidden under the floor in order to keep the area free and usable.
Each column is equipped with a high-pressure cylinder allowing to press, with the proper interfaces, both primary and secondary springs, in order to disassemble/assemble the bogie.
Once the bogie is assembled, it is possible to carry out the rotation and press test by means of the proper equipment.
2. BLE – Bogie lifting equipment, BLW – Bogie lifting from wheels
Special device equipped with synchronized and monitored fixed columns to lift axles and bogies, either assembled or disassembled.
The equipment offers a very useful and cheap solution to perform all the maintenance operations on the bogie.
3. MBP – Mobile bogie press
The machine consists of a mobile bridge designed to press both side of the bogie which is placed in upright position and aligned with the wheelset.
It is a very useful and cheap solution to disassemble the bogie.
Thanks to its concept design the machine can be used with any kind of bogie.
4. UHD – Underframe handling device
Semi-automatic equipment to handle bogies underframes (and other parts) in the disassembly, assembly and pre-set maintenance processes.
It is designed to grant maximum security to the operator, who can work on a manageable and quick instrument to handle bogies underframes.
Key strength is its versatile function: thanks to its mobile shoulder (travel 1600 mm) it easily fits any kind of underframe.
The equipment is especially useful during the phases of reorganization of maintenance processes where it helps reducing working times and final maintenance costs.
5. STM – Spring test machine
Special machine to test, in automatic mode, the spring or spring-pack, to measure (as required to validate the spring):
– Loose length and under load length
– Axial and lateral rigidity
– Direction and value of “chasse”
The operator can pre-set all data and the machine prints-out a complete report to certify the test. The machine is also certified as a precision instrument.
